Meet London Alexis! She was born on Friday. This is my older brother (Jason) and his wife’s baby girl. They have two boys also, so she is just what they need. I was supposed to take Alicia’s maternity photos on Saturday, but since her water broke on Friday the baby came early surprising us all! She is just perfect though…weighing in at 5lbs. 9ounces. I will be photographing her newborn pictures soon, so you can expect to see more of her.
First, I have to show you one of their Christmas photos that I never got to blog, luckily we did get that cute belly in a few photos…

How cute is she…

Look how cute my little nephews are! This is Luke, he is SO proud of his little sister….

and Lane ( who wasn’t to sure about all of this new baby stuff before she got her, but now I think he is in awe of her)…

just a little bit of hair…

Jason thought she was so cute in this little hospital bow hat….

Remember Katie and Seth?

Well just before Christmas they weclomed this beautiful little girl into their family. She is so precious! She WOULD NOT sleep for me, she just flat out refused. I think she just didn’t want to miss anything. I think it is safe to say that the baby fever is definitely getting to me. I want one! Look at how cute she is…

look at her rolls, so my kind of baby!

Claudia and Mike

I was so excited to have the opportunity to photograph this sweet couple. These two have been married for 35 years and they needed some updated pictures together. We did their session on their actual anniversary, and it was so fun! I think every couple should do pictures together every year or at the very least on “big” anniversaries. They have such a neat connection and I look up to them so much for the amazing marriage that they have built. I hope you get a glimpse of the love that they share through these pictures…

The Ingraham Family
December 30, 2008
These faces may look familiar to you if you have been following my blog for any length of time. Alisha is one of my very best friends and her daughter Elizabeth is Andee’s BEST friend. Andee adores Elizabeth. Alisha is one of the reasons I can do this business! She is always so willing to help with Andee if I’m ever in a pinch with childcare and need a sitter asap before a shoot. She is my God save a lot! As much as I owe her huge for all of her help she still only got a mini session (literally about 20 minutes) to “just get what we needed” for a cute Christmas card. Luckily Elizabeth is used to me and she did awesome! These are some of my favorites from the shoot…

Elizabeth is trying to be like her mommy (You may not have noticed at first glance, but Alisha is pregnant and due in March!)…
And here is their cute Christmas card…

Whew!
December 30, 2008
The blog no longer sleeps! I actually quit blogging long before I stopped shooting families this year! I still have lots of cute families to show you! December is a complete blur and it’s almost over! I made SOME Christmas cards this year! Thank you to all of my fantastic clients who decided to use me this Christmas to document this special year in your families life. I was so excited that everyone loved the Christmas cards and wanted them! They were a huge hit. I made just under 30 cards this year!!! That being said I have still not made our card! It will have to be a New Year card. Luckily 2009 will last a little while, so I’m not going to stress about getting those out this week. Here is a little peek at a few of the cards that I made this year….

(the black and whites are looking a little blue in this picture, so just ignore that! It looks normal in person)
The Wallace Family

What a cute family! These kids have the best personalities…I loved them! I’ve photographed so many families with toddlers this year that getting to photograph kids that were a little older was kind of a nice change. These three made me laugh, and it’s supposed to be the other way around! Here are a few favorites…

The Hinojosa Family
December 10, 2008
Meet the Hinojosas! Robyn might be one my biggest fans. I ruined Picture People and Sears for her a few years ago and she has been unashamedly singing my praises ever since, so of course I LOVE HER! Well, after having to reschedule this session twice because of weather and who knows what else, we finally got a time that would work. It was so last minute too. The weekend of Thanksgiving my Sunday session cancelled and I was walking out of church when I saw Robyn. It was 12:30 and I told her I could fit her in at 3:00. She literally pulled together clothes and everything in just a few short hours. The wind however was out of control! We had to fight wind blown hair and hurricane force winds throughout the whole session. In the end I actually like the windy look in a few, so maybe it wasn’t all bad….

a picture for Alberto’s office…
the next one is my favorite!

Jenna
December 9, 2008
STRIKING! I loved photographing Jenna. I met Jenna at Stadium (the student ministry at The Ark) a few years ago and I loved her right from the beginning. She has great style and always looks adorable. On top of that she is so fun and has the best personality! I was so excited that she wanted me to do her senior portraits, because I knew we would have so much fun. I could blog a million, but I finally decided that these were some of my favorites…

I found fall colors! You have no idea how happy that makes me…

Becky and her boys
December 7, 2008
What a lucky mom, she has two beautiful little boys! I adored these boys. Pierson (the baby) is so calm and just smiles at you. He is precious! Jackson is a little ball of energy. So ready to GO…somewhere, anywhere! It took a few m&m bribes, but I think we were able to capture him…the real him. Just a great big smile that is all Jackson….

beautiful!
